Iddes Yachts Introduces Trailblazing 55 Metre ‘Go-Anywhere’ Expedition Superyacht Concept

Yatch to rich travel

Class 55 is the designation of Iddes Yachts’ concept for a 55-meter expedition yacht series that can travel anywhere.

The studio stated that the new production series combines opulence and comfort with “the most demanding engineering and operational requirements.”

The 55-meter explorer has a large D13-certified helideck capable of transporting tenders and amphibious vehicles for access to remote areas, and is described as “the ultimate adventure platform.”

The yacht is also equipped with a 185-square-meter cargo deck, a beam of 10.5 metres, and a five-ton multipurpose crane.

A diesel-hydro hybrid system or a diesel-electric hybrid system with a cruising speed of 12 to 15 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles are among the available propulsion options. Abundant stowage allows for forty days of independence at sea.

A media and communications centre may also be installed at the rear of the vessel. There is space for a total of 12 visitors.
