Inaugural Rubix Festival Draws Superyachts to Porto Montenegro

Since its inception in 2006, Porto Montenegro’s cutting-edge superyacht marina has magnetized some of the globe’s most renowned superyachts. With the upcoming Rubix Festival set for July 28-30, superyacht owners and charterers seeking a departure from conventional yacht destinations are poised to converge upon this realm of Adriatic opulence. An enclave of ultra-modern luxury, Porto Montenegro promises not only revelry and relaxation but also a medley of creative encounters and artistic showcases to kindle inspiration.

Spanning from classical and orchestral melodies to cutting-edge electronic and experimental sounds, the festival is meticulously curated to present attendees with a diverse spectrum of encounters. DJ Damian Lazarus, Morcheeba, John Malkovich, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Chris Young, and Francesco Tristano are just a few luminaries comprising the star-studded music lineup of Rubix. Culinary aficionados can relish in wine tastings and chef’s tables. The event will also host workshops and masterclasses in disciplines ranging from pottery and 3D printing to body painting. An array of artists, including Danilo Baletić, Regis Original, Rikardo Druškić, Hana Dujmović, Piros, FVU, and Cosmodernism, will showcase their exhibitions.

Nestled within the UNESCO-enshrined and charming Bay of Kotor, Porto Montenegro has established itself as a cultural epicenter, hosting a rich tapestry of events, concerts, and festivals. Featuring breathtaking vistas of Boka Bay, the heart of the festival will be set within the marina village, with the grand ‘Synchro Stage’ serving as the epicenter for headline acts. The expansive event space will be enveloped by supplementary zones, encompassing an exhibition area, workshop venues, a tranquil retreat, a technology corner, and an observation tower.
