Madonna has successfully managed the sale of her opulent Californian mansion, netting large profits in a way that feels like a prayer answered.
In April 2022, the 64-year-old reigning monarch of pop revealed the audacious beginning price of $25.9 million for her 3-acre estate tucked away in the upscale neighborhood of Hidden Hills, Los Angeles.
But the initial asking price was cut, and it finally came down to $23.5 million. According to recent TMZ sources, she has finally found a buyer for $23 million, with the added twist that the buyer was able to bargain an additional $500,000 off the property’s last advertised price.
The legendary “Material Girl,” who had purchased the expansive 12,000-square-foot mansion from Canadian R&B phenomenon The Weeknd for $19.3 million back in April 2021, has received a huge windfall of $3.7 million as a result of the deal.
The nine-bathroom property was purchased by the 33-year-old “Can’t Feel My Face” singer in 2017 for $18.2 million, but he had originally planned to resell it for $25 million.
Beyond its illustrious history with celebrities, the opulent home includes a number of opulent amenities, as previously reported by The Post, such as a saltwater pool, a basketball court, a spa for ten, an indoor-outdoor bar, an automobile gallery with space for five cars, a home theater, and a wine cellar.
Madonna even added a gym and a dance studio during her time living on the expansive property. The main house has an elegant entryway with a two-story wall of windows, a formal dining room with a fireplace, and other amenities. There are seven bedrooms in the house, each with its own ensuite bathroom.
The grounds also feature a guest house with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fully functional kitchen. It’s important to keep in mind that the “Material Girl” artist paid $19.3 million for the home at first. When Madonna bought the estate from The Weeknd in 2021, it became her property.
The property is further adorned by a second, two-bedroom guest house. During her stay, Madonna made improvements to the estate by adding a separate dance studio and a fitness center. The property is beautifully positioned on a 3 acre area.
The property’s final asking price was set at $23.5 million. The location exudes exclusivity because it is within the gated borders of Hidden Hills in Los Angeles County. A modern home theater, a stunning saltwater pool, and a well managed wine cellar are among the facilities available.
