Access to this sizable national park is a little challenging. The best option is to fly to Kiruna, from which point you may take a bus or rail for the final 100 kilometers or so into the park. But once you get there, you’re in for a special natural treat.

It’s the epitome of untamed Scandinavian beauty, and in the summer, the sun rises and sets almost continuously. Just that makes it a special place to hike!
