Moroccan Magician’s Energetic Introduction as He Joins Galatasaray on Loan from Chelsea

Hakim Ziyech, a winger for Chelsea, has been acquired by Galatasaray on a season-long loan with a buy option.

The Turkish club spent £3 million on Ziyech’s loan fee and a further £2.4 million if the arrangement becomes permanent next summer.

Following Galatasaray’s 2-0 victory over Trabzonspor, Ziyech led a cheer from the crowd as he stood in the stands at RAMS Park.

The audience became silent as the 30-year-old covered his lips with a finger before roaring into life.

Ziyech addressed the crowd from atop a scaffold and was subsequently spotted on the field with a Galatasaray shirt and scarf.

Ziyech was supposed to sign a loan agreement with Paris Saint-Germain in January, but the deal fell through due to a legal problem.

Ziyech was then scheduled to join Al-Nassr in June, however the move was scrapped due to a knee injury found during his physical.

The Moroccan international struggled while at Chelsea after moving there from Ajax in 2020.

For Chelsea, Ziyech played in 104 games, recording 14 goals and 13 assists.

During his first season with Chelsea, Ziyech did not make a substitute appearance in the Champions League final against Manchester City.

Trabzonspor lost against Galatasaray thanks to two goals from Mauro Icardi.
