Exploring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s California Dream Home for His Mom

With an estimated net worth of $270 million, the multifaceted entertainer and former wrestler, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, has invested $3.48 million in an Encino, California residence for his mother, Ata. This purchase marks the third home he has acquired for her, including one in Florida. However, this particular property holds special significance.

In an Instagram post, Johnson, aged 50, shared, “When I was a little boy, I hated when my mom would cry ~ these days, I’ll happily take her tears of joy.” He continued to describe how he surprised his mother with the new home, working diligently with his design team for eight weeks to create a space where every element was entirely new and unexpected to her.

Johnson elaborated on the sentiment behind this purchase, stating, “I’ve been lucky enough to have bought her a few homes over the years, but this one is special as she’s told me over and over these past few years, ‘After a lifetime of traveling, I want this home to be my last. That’s my dream.'” In a heartfelt conclusion, he expressed, “Mom, there’s no greater feeling than to make you happy ~ welcome home.”

According to records obtained by The Post, Johnson made the purchase of the Cape Cod-style home, boasting six bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, in September. However, his mother didn’t move in until recently.

Encompassing more than 4,400 square feet, the residence is securely gated and exudes luxury with its remarkable features. Among these are a great room adorned with French doors, a chef’s kitchen boasting navy cabinetry, a bespoke tile backsplash, Carrera marble countertops, and a living room graced with a fireplace and white vaulted ceilings.

Adding to its appeal, the kitchen also includes a cozy breakfast nook. The primary suite offers a direct connection to the outdoor space and is further enhanced by a spa-like bath complete with dual sinks and a freestanding tub.
