Lil Wayne’s LA Retreat: Explore a lavish estate in Hidden Hills

After spending the majority of last year sequestered in a rented Hollywood Hills mansion with his ex-girlfriend Denise Bidot, Lil Wayne appears to like Los Angeles enough to purchase a home.

The guard-gated San Fernando Valley community of Hidden Hills is home to Drake, Lori Loughlin, Dwyane Wade, Jessica Simpson, Jeffree Star, John Stamos, and multiple Kardashians. According to TMZ, the 38-year-old rapper paid $15.4 million for an opulent residence there.

Weezy’s new home is literally right across the street from The Weeknd’s Hidden Hills residence, which has been listed for sale at a reduced $22 million price since last summer, and around the corner from Kylie Jenner’s longtime residence.

The hilltop estate, with a 10,000 square foot main home and a smaller guesthouse on a pad below the main house, was constructed in 2019 by a local developer. More than three acres of the property are covered in grass and olive trees.

The land is surrounded by white picket fences and horse paths as a nod to Hidden Hills’ equestrian history. The majority of the residents of the neighborhood still keep horses on their ranches.

The main building, designed in the style of a modern farmhouse, has a sizable living area off the two-story entrance. There is a glass-enclosed, temperature-controlled wine closet/display underneath the grand staircase.

The designer kitchen boasts two large islands, marble countertops, and a full variety of premium stainless appliances, including a French stove. Oak wood floors lead into the room.
