Exploring $940M Superyacht Spectrum: Duty-Free Shops, Automated Bars, Amusement Park…

The Royal Caribbean superyacht Spectrum of the Seas brought more than 4,000 foreign tourists to Phu My port in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province on August 22.

At a reception for Ba Ria-Vung Tau province officials and representatives from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the yacht’s captain, Mr. Wu Huimin, reported that passengers on the 12-day voyage had explored Tokyo, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima in Japan as well as Hong Kong, Nha Trang, and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

Mr. Wu Huimin further, saying that cruise ship guests like Vietnam for its stunning landscapes and delicious food.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director of Vietnam’s National Administration of Tourism, listened to this account with admiration. We are delighted that Royal Caribbean International Group’s Spectrum of the Seas will visit Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Hue on its upcoming 2023 Asia voyage. We hope this will pave the way for many more luxury cruise ships to visit Ha Long Bay, Cat Ba Island, Son Tra, Phan Thiet, and Phu Quoc in the future.

The Vietnam National Administration of tourist also anticipated that better coordination would be made between Royal Caribbean International Group and the Vietnamese government to promote Vietnam as a top destination for Royal Caribbean International Group’s tourist offerings.
