Interior design for this New York residence by Gigi Hadid took a full year.

According to The New York Post, Hadid actually owns two apartments in the complex where she now resides, and she plans to merge them. She paid $3.97 million for her first apartment, a two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom house with a chef’s kitchen, back in 2015.

A $5.82 million townhouse with three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a private patio with a fire pit, a barbecue, and an outdoor refrigerator makes up the second apartment in the structure. According to the Post, Hadid discreetly purchased the apartment in December 2018. Since her first apartment doesn’t have two stories, it must be the one that she’s showing off on Instagram.

Hadid admitted that she “spent all of last year designing and curating my passion project,” and that it was finished right before the Covid-19 ordered lockdown of New York City. After leaving the city, the model moved home with her family on their Pennsylvania farm.

One of the room’s most unusual features is a huge yellow pen hɑnging against the door outside the restroom. The glam room maintains the yellow theme with a similarly lemon-colored carpet and a soft, antique-looking velvet chair.
