Marshmello’s Luxurious Transformation: Exploring His $10.8 Million Mulholland Estates Mansion

Chris Comstock was the mystery buyer who spent $10.8 million for a huge property in Mulholland Estates, a guard-gated neighborhood above Sherman Oaks, last summer. The 28-year-old Philadelphia electronic music star Marshmello has millions of admirers.

Marshmello and his charming alter-ego have had unprecedented success since 2015’s electronic music debut. With hits like “Silence,” “Wolves,” “Friends,” and “Alone,” Marshmello became popular. The famous cheerful bucket head and a well-executed marketing campaign by his staff, notably his diligent manager Moe Shalizi, helped create Marshmello. Early attention from Skrillex and Tiesto also helped him grow quickly.

Marshmello bought his first Los Angeles house, a $3.6 million modern mansion in Laurel Canyon, three years ago. Given his unrelenting success and $56 million in 2019, it’s no wonder he upgraded to a more luxurious home.

The mansion, designed by celebrity architect Richard Landry, was renovated in 1992. After fixing earlier décor blunders, interior designer Jeff Lewis created a bright, white, Miami-inspired look. The Altman Brothers Team of Douglas Elliman, featured on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing,” represented the sellers, while Marshmello was represented by LA Estate Brokerage’s Ekaterina Chubarova.
