Known as Lil Nas X on Instagram and TikTok, Montero Hill announced last month that he had become a homeowner. Records indicate that the 21-year-old country-rap artist purchased a refurbished 1950s property in Sherman Oaks for $2.4 million, driving down to the valley with his horse and Porsche.

The hillside property underwent major renovations for four years before being sold in 2017 for little under $1 million. The historic town road leads to a two-car garage high above the street. The crystalline front entrance is behind a waterfall that spills into a pond. Wide-plank hardwood flooring surround a large great room with separate dining and living areas and a linear fireplace in a stone mantel. Recessed lighting is scattered across white walls and ceilings.

The living space is next to the kitchen, which has a big island, two stoves, and a wine fridge. A large glass pocket door opens to a balcony with “unbelievable panoramic views” of the San Fernando Valley skyline from the main living rooms.

The home has four bedrooms with full baths. The master bedroom has a balcony with panoramic views, and two rooms are gyms and offices. A walk-in closet with custom built-ins, a bathroom with two vanities and a soaking tub, and an adjacent bathroom.

The ad claims the residence has a “secret room”. A wooden terrace faces the skyline in the rear. The property has an elevated jacuzzi-style apartment with pool and spa elements, but no swimming pool.
