The Entire Donald Trump NFT Collection, Worth $4.45 Million, Sold Out in One Day.

He released 45,000 trading cards at $99 a piece, which have now all sold out.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the long-term viability of NFTs, there was a sizable market for Donald Trump’s crypto holdings. To the point where all of the stock was gone in a single day.

The former president of the United States made a “major announcement” on his own social media network, Truth Social, last month. After several of his previous social media accounts were disabled, Trump founded the network in October 2021 as an alternative to Facebook and Twitter with less restriction constraints.

Trump said in the article that he was launching a set of digital trading cards to honor his achievements.

Like baseball cards but presumably more thrilling, they are “limited edition cards featur[ing] amazing ART of my Life & Career,” he said.

The NFTs show the president in a variety of situations, some of which are more plausible than others. Images of him in spacesuits, behind the wheel, and in the ring may be found.

After some time, the Opensea marketplace’s waiting list was removed, and 45,000 digital cards were made available for purchase for $99 USD each. But the whole collection sold out in no time.

The daily sales allegedly netted Trump $4.45 million. It’s unknown what the billionaire has planned for the sale’s proceeds, however a portion of the money will almost certainly go toward his run for president in 2024.

The former contestant on “The Apprentice” declared his candidacy for president in November.

In November, he said, “I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States to make America great and glorious again.” I don’t want this to be “my campaign;” I want it to be “our campaign.”

His declaration was met with swift backlash from some who said he shouldn’t be allowed to run because of his role in the January 2021 riots on Capitol Hill.

Social media remarks Trump made that seemed to incite rioters were the subject of an inquiry, but he was ultimately found not guilty.

However, a lawsuit is still pending in an effort to halt his run for president.

John Anthony Castro, a Florida attorney, has filed a lawsuit claiming that Trump’s campaign is illegal because it encourages violence and rebellion, in violation of the 14th Amendment.

A $250 million lawsuit filed by the New York attorney general also names Trump and six of his children as defendants.
