Kanye West Dismisses Employee Over Desire to Play Drake’s Music

More and more people who have worked for Kanye West are coming out about the terrible treatment they received from Ye, whose questionable conduct has been making headlines lately.

Rolling Stone has lately published multiple tales from former workers of Kanye’s. Someone who worked at Ye’s Yeezy studio in Chicago in 2015 said he was let go after recommending Drake’s songs to the other employees there.

Supposedly, Kanye requested a group of employees to select some tunes, but when they mentioned Drake, he became angry.

“I thought, ‘Oh, he’s a rapper, I should probably mention some rap,’” the former employee said. “Big mistake—the next day I was fired.”

Ex-workers further claim that Kanye had a severe lack of confidence in his employees and would scold or terminate anybody who wore the “wrong” colors to work.

Some of Kanye’s recent questionable actions include making several anti-Black and antisemitic comments. The rapper’s longtime partnership with Adidas, among other brand collaborations, has ended. The firm has said that it would go on selling Yeezy items, but without Kanye’s input.

Forbes said that Kanye is no longer a billionaire due to the loss of his Adidas deal.

The public may be taken aback by Kanye’s words, but apparently it’s business as usual behind closed doors. The allegations made against Kanye in Rolling Stone’s article are not the first of their kind.
