Witness the Unrivaled Velocity of the Newest Superyacht, Poised to Conquer the Oceans

It’s been said that larger isn’t always better, and in the case of superyachts, bigger is usually slower. This may soon change with the release of Vanquish’s VQ115 Veloce, which is billed as one of the world’s fastest superyachts at over 30 meters (98.5 feet) in length.

The VQ115, commissioned by a returning customer from the Dutch luxury yacht firm, has a span of 35 meters (1148 feet) and a top speed of 51 knots (approximately 59 miles per hour). The three-story powerboat with seating for 32 passengers will arrive in North America later this year.

Vanquish plans to equip the almost 100-ton yacht with three MTU Rolls-Royce 2600s engines with surface drives. When running on two engines, the boat will be able to go over 500 nautical miles without refueling, and it will also include an extra fuel tank for cruising at 15 knots.

The crew of the Vanquish commissioned the services of Studio Delta, a naval architectural company, to design the yacht’s hull for maximum efficiency at high speeds with little resistance. The rest of the exterior was also designed by Guido de Groot and is made of aluminum, making it sleek and modern.

On board, you may choose from several forms of entertainment. The VQ16 and VQ11, two smaller Vanquish boats, will be stored in the tender bay and the second starboard garage, respectively. The layout also has a movie room, office, several outdoor sitting and eating spaces, and a bar with a saltwater jacuzzi.

The VQ115’s interior is rather modest for a ship of its size, having only three bedrooms. This wasn’t done accidentally; rather, the customer requested a fun and engaging ship. The superyacht’s size guarantees that it will do quite well in this regard.
