Trippie Redd’s Custom Wrapped Widebody C8 Chevy Corvette

The C8 Chevrolet Corvette has a lot going for it, including (relatively) low cost, appealing styling, an updated powerplant, and supercar-level handling and performance. It is understandable why both normal people and celebrities have expressed their admiration and interest in it.

The most recent addition to the infamous group is Trippie Redd, an American rapper, singer, and songwriter better known by his stage name Michael Lamar White IV. Fortunately, unlike other superficial celebrities, his overblown demeanor is complemented by true talent, as evidenced by his Billboard performances.

After seeing his most recent social media post, which prominently depicts a C8 Chevrolet Corvette, we’re also growing fond of him. We’re dealing with the man also known as the “Trippie Hippie,” so this isn’t your typical Corvette. Instead, because of its unusual adaptations, it will stick out from the crowd.

Unfortunately, no details on who, when, where, or how much the piece was created by the artist are available. However, it exemplifies why enthusiasts jokingly refer to the Corvette as a “canvas that allows owners to make it their own” and how it went from being moderate to being wild with just a few customized elements.

According to what we can tell, it’s a pretty cool example of customization that includes a wrap (in an awesome shade of red, of course) mixed with carbon fiber accents, a set of outrageous aftermarket wheels, and LED lighting hidden in all the appropriate places (even the engine compartment). Although it might not be everyone’s cup of tea because, as always, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the widebody design gets great marks for innovation.
