Elon Musk’s Singular Home: Affordable and Effortlessly Mobile

Elon’s supposed abode is just 37 square meters in size and leases for slightly around $50,000 per year via SpaceX.

Elon Musk decided to sell most of his holdings in early 2020 so that he could devote more time to his electric vehicle and rocket manufacturing and management operations. Since then, SpaceX’s CEO has sold his whole estate and is living in a $50,000 rental property in Boca Chica, Texas, near the company’s headquarters and research and testing facilities.

Biographer Walter Isaacson, who has written books about Leonardo da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs, and many others, posted photos of Musk’s prefab home on his personal Facebook page on August 7. The photos served as an introduction to Isaacson’s forthcoming book, Elon Musk.

Although Boxabl Casitas co-founder Galiano Tiramani has not acknowledged that Musk has lived in one of their structures, the business has implied in a recent promotional film that it is erecting one for a top-secret customer. The cutting-edge structure may be folded for convenient travel and set up in a single day.

Each electrical socket has a USB port, and heating and air conditioning come included. Boxabl claims that the average monthly electricity cost for its homes is under $28 due to the high quality insulation and energy-saving features installed throughout.

After cutting down on his extravagant spending, the millionaire feels optimistic about the future. Elon Musk has divested himself of all earthly possessions in pursuit of his plan to become space master and Martian self-sufficient by the year 2050.
