French Montana’s Hidden Hills Mansion: A Lavish Paradise of Luxury

Paul “PG-13” George finally sold his enormous Hidden Hills, Los Angeles home after six months on the market. The NBA star and his longterm girlfriend, the former stripper Daniela Rajic, purchased the 1.35-acre property in 2016 for $7.4 million.

The buyer is under the authority of French Montana, a rapper and composer nominated for a Grammy who was born in Morocco. The Calabasas native, now 36, has racked up over 13 billion streams across all platforms with her diamond-certified single “Unforgettable.”

During their four years in charge, George and Rajic made no changes to the house’s enigmatic design in Hidden Hills. Built in 1989 for an unremarkable family, George purchased their home and expanded it by around 4,000 square feet. The landscaped lawn and bird’s-eye views transform the bunker-esque mansion into a futuristic take on a classic Tuscan villa. From the street and the enormous front motorcourt, the building seems like a very squat and broad suburban church.

On Ashley Ridge, the most exclusive neighborhood in Hidden Hills, Kris and Khloe Kardashian, Jeffree Star, Lori Loughlin, and Mossimo Giannulli will all be relocating in 2021 for a total cost of $9.5 million. Vin Scully’s old house is next door to French Montana’s brand new one.

Visitors and sellers alike will be impressed by the massive space. Shiny floors are illuminated by glass walls, automated skylights, and an established indoor tree. The stone fireplace in one section of the room is huge and inviting.

In this contemporary kitchen, six horse-legged chairs sit around a marble breakfast bar. There is a gaming room, a den with a fireplace, a formal dining room, a movie theater, a gym with a steam shower, a wine cellar, and a library with mahogany paneling.

It’s a big, old master suite, but it works. A skylight illuminates the bathroom, which has granite countertops and a sofa, and two separate dressing areas/walk-in closets lead out to a “private sunning patio.” The backyard resort has a basketball court, built-in children’s playroom, outdoor kitchen with BBQ, entertainer’s terrace with fireplace, and separate music/TV center, all of which can be seen from the patio that overlooks the backyard’s tiers. A sycamore and palm thicket provide privacy for the site.

In September of 2019, George and Rajic spent $16.1 million to purchase DeAndre Jordan’s 10,000 square foot mansion in Pacific Palisades. In 2016, French Montana paid Selena Gomez $3.3 million for a “starter house” in Calabasas that was designed in the Tuscan style. (The initial asking price for the home was $6.6 million; it was later reduced to $5.6 million before being taken off the market altogether.)
