‘Life is Good’ Rapper Future Acquires Luxurious Mansion in Miami Beach

What a time it is to be Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, also known as Future to his horde of fans. In addition to being hailed as the “Best Rapper Alive” in a GQ article earlier this year, the Atlanta-born hip-hop singer/songwriter in September sold the rights to over 600 titles in his publishing catalog to investment company Influence Media Partners for a sum in the “high eight figures.” He will also work on the upcoming “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack with Rihanna.

And Future’s real estate efforts are no different. The Real Deal claims that he just spent $16.3 million for a waterfront home on Miami Beach’s exclusive guard-gated Allison Island for French insurance CEO Laurent Ouazana and his wife Pascale. The property was bought by the Ouazanas for $12.5 million in 2020, along with a neighboring parcel that was later sold to developers. The new price is still substantially more than the original price despite a sizable $3.6 million drop from the initial listed price.

The futuristic homes of Future are nestled away on a gated quarter-acre property and were built in 2020. The roughly 8,000 square feet of living space in the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom home has high ceilings, glass walls, and a seamless indoor-outdoor setting. It is bordered by tall palm palms. There is an elevator, a rooftop patio, a guesthouse, staff quarters, and a three-car garage, among other elegant amenities.

A large great room with living and dining rooms, a kitchen with custom Ornare cabinetry, a long eat-in island, and top-notch stainless steel appliances are further amenities. The lavish master bedroom is also equipped with a sitting area with a wet bar and wine refrigerator, an expansive balcony, two walk-in closets, and a lavish bathroom with dual vanities, a huge glass-enclosed shower, and a freestanding soaking tub. All of these amenities are found in the master bedroom on the second level.

The resort-like grounds’ outside amenities include an infinity-edge pool, an elevated spa, an open-air pavilion with a kitchen, and lots of seating and party spaces. A luxury yacht may be moored with ease thanks to the port and 75 feet of water frontage.

Dina Goldentayer of Douglas Elliman held the listing, while Jordan Karp of Jordan Karp LLC represented the client.
