CR7’s Class Shines Bright: Owner of One of Ten Limited Bugattis Worldwide

Spending $10.5 million on one of just 10 ever made of this special edition Bugatti was a waste of money for Cristiano Ronaldo. The 37-year-old Man United player reportedly placed an order for a 2020 Bugatti Centodieci in the previous year, as reported by Bild.

According to rumors, Ronaldo is one of just ten persons in the world who will be able to afford the $10.5 million Bugatti Centodieci. In 2021, the first of the amazing new Bugattis were delivered to enthusiastic purchasers. The French carmaker is still tight-lipped about whether or not Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the fortunate purchasers.

The top speed for this supercar is 236 miles per hour. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner previously had a Bugatti Chiron and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, both of which were part of his extensive collection of luxury automobiles. The initials ‘CR7’ are embroidered in gold thread on the headrests of his other two Bugattis.

Supposedly, inspiration for this new vehicle came from the legendary Bugatti EB110. Special models of the Centodieci, powered by its 8-liter W16 engine, are capable of producing up to 1600 horsepower. While the Centodieci costs three times as much as the Chiron, it has around 100 more horsepower.

It boasts a peak speed of 236 mph and can go from 0 to 62 mph in under 2.4 seconds. When Bild contacted Bugatti directly, the automaker neither confirmed nor denied the rumor that Ronaldo had purchased one of their vehicles.
