Inside Marshmello’s $10.8 Million Mulholland Estates Mansion

The unidentified purchaser who paid $10.8 million for a sizable property in Mulholland Estates, a guard-gated community above Sherman Oaks, last summer was Chris Comstock. Millions of people adore the 28-year-old electronic music superstar from Philadelphia named Marshmello.

Since making their electronic music debut in 2015, Marshmello and his endearing alter ego have experienced unheard-of success. Marshmello rose to fame with singles including “Silence,” “Wolves,” “Friends,” and “Alone.”

Marshmello was made possible by the well-known upbeat bucket head and a successful marketing campaign run by his team, especially his assiduous manager Moe Shalizi. Skrillex and Tiesto’s early attention also aided in his speedy growth.

Three years ago, Marshmello purchased his first home in Los Angeles, a $3.6 million modern estate in Laurel Canyon. It’s understandable that he moved to a more opulent property given his unwavering success and $56 million in 2019.

In 1992, Richard Landry, a well-known architect, refurbished the mansion. Interior designer Jeff Lewis produced a bright, white, Miami-inspired style after correcting prior décor errors. The sellers were represented by Douglas Elliman’s Altman Brothers Team, who were also featured on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing,” and Marshmello was represented by Ekaterina Chubarova of LA Estate Brokerage.
