Ben Affleck’s East Coast-Style L.A. Mansion Sells for $28.5 Million

Ben Affleck’s bachelor pad is as nice as they come. Affleck is a well-known American actor, director, and producer who has appeared in starring roles in action, drama, and comedy films. For $28.5 million, the actor sold his Pacific Palisades property, making it the third-highest transaction in the area this year.

Ben Affleck’s Pacific Palisades property, which was built in the East Coast Traditional style, reportedly sold in less than two months after it was put on the market. At $28.5 million, the transaction price of this Pacific Palisades mansion was the third highest of the year.

Data reveal After his divorce from Jennifer Garner in 2018, Affleck purchased the home for $19 million. He just tied the knot with Jennifer Lopez, and the new couple is looking for a larger home on the Westside.

Not that it’s little; at almost 13,000 square feet, seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, plus opulent living areas and luxuries like a movie theater, wine cellar, full bar, gym, and wellness room make this a true showplace in the classic style.

Priced at a staggering $29.995 million, the tri-level, 13,000-plus-square-foot bachelor house was approximately $10 million more than the asking price when the actor and director purchased it in 2018. After Affleck’s divorce from Jennifer Garner, he purchased a brand new mansion, which he then listed for sale this summer after his wedding to Jennifer Lopez. Although the buyer’s identity is now unknown, the offer on the property was submitted within a few weeks after the first advertisement.

The house has a green rear that is concealed from view by high hedges and trees, and it spans half an acre across the street from Riviera Country Club. The property has a lawn, a garden, a guesthouse, a swimming pool with a spa, and a waterslide, all of which can be seen from the covered patio and the second-story deck.

Located just across from the exclusive Riviera Country Club, this magnificent mansion has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms on half an acre of land. The home’s exterior takes cues from classic East Coast design, while the inside is ultra-modern and makes great use of both indoor and outdoor space. The family room’s sliding glass doors lead out to a covered patio with a dining set, sofas, a fireplace, and a television. According to Architectural Digest, there’s a swimming pool and poolhouse in the spacious rear.

The pool area is complete with a sleek grey water slide, perfect for the father of three. Returning inside, a climate-controlled wine room offers a classier alternative for hosting gatherings. When construction was finished on the house in 2017, Affleck became the second owner after the builder.

Affleck has been acting for four decades, and his work in films including Dazed and Confused, Chasing Amy, The Town, Gone Girl, and The Last Duel have been critically acclaimed. Additionally, the 50-year-old has won two Academy Awards: one for original screenplay for 1997’s “Good Will Hunting” and another for best picture in 2012’s “Argo.”

According to the Multiple Listing Service, he found a buyer for $30 million less than a month after putting the property on the market in August.

The listing was held by Agency employees Santiago Arana and Amir Mostame. Whoever the buyer was, Lisa Kirshner Elkin of Compass represented them.
