Steve Harvey and Wife Marjorie Acquire Tyler Perry’s Luxurious Atlanta Estate in Multi-Million Dollar Deal

In a significant real estate deal, talk show star and comedian Steve Harvey and his wife Marjorie paid $15 million for Tyler Perry’s Buckhead property in Atlanta, Georgia. The multi-talented performer Tyler Perry had previously sold the 35,000 square foot property for $17.5 million in 2016 after it had been on the market for almost two years with a $25 million initial asking price, making it Atlanta’s most expensive real estate deal at the time.

With 17 acres of perfectly managed grounds, manicured gardens, a 70,000-gallon infinity pool, a lit tennis court, a fully equipped gym, and a separate spa, the opulent home has an astounding list of amenities. The house also has a guesthouse, guardhouse, detached caretaker’s suite, backup generator that can power the entire property, and a high-tech security system.

Residents can enjoy a theater, indoor pool, wine cellar, and an underground ballroom with a catering kitchen inside the main mansion’s French Provincial architecture. The opulent mansion provides the Harveys with a life of luxury and extravagance and is a sizable investment in their real estate holdings.

Notably, Steve Harvey is also selling two other properties, one in Atlanta and the other a 6,500 square foot, five-bedroom, 6.5 bathroom estate in Little Elm, Texas, both advertised for $1.1 million apiece. The Harvey family formerly lived in a mansion in the guard-gated suburb of Beverly Park in the Californian hills above Beverly Hills, which they rented for $100,000 per month before purchasing the Tyler Perry property. Steve Harvey is still a well-known name in the entertainment sector and a shrewd real estate investor thanks to his many businesses and successful career.
