That’s a Bad Girl Right There”: LeBron James Displays His New GMC Hummer EV

LeBron James, a brand ambassador for GMC, recently got the opportunity to test drive the GMC Hummer EV, one of the most exciting forthcoming electric cars.

The three-time NBA champion took his millions of Instagram followers on a live tour of the first generation Hummer EV. The vehicle he looked at was a pre-production prototype, so it wasn’t road-ready. Nonetheless, it was a faithful representation of the final off-road vehicle.

Even though the basketball great says nothing new, many of his fans are probably hearing about and seeing the EV for the first time thanks to this post. James will like the new Hummer’s removable roof panels because of how much space they’ll provide inside.

Later this year, for $112,595, consumers may purchase the first-ever model of the Hummer EV, the Edition 1. Powered with three electric motors totaling 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 lb-ft (15,592 Nm) of torque, it will be capable of sprinting from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in only three seconds.

An Ultium battery cell, with a range of over 350 miles (563 kilometers), provides energy for these motors. The truck can be charged at a rate of 350 kW in only ten minutes, enabling its owners to gain approximately 100 miles (161 kilometers) of range.
