‘The riches don’t need money?’: DJ Khaled sold his mansion in Miami with very low price

DJ Khaled has been successful in selling his opulent Miami home.

According to the New York Post, the 44-year-old DJ and music producer was able to sell his enormous Florida property for just under $6 million.

Before finding a buyer, this opulent mansion had been on the market for more than a year. Khaled, whose full name is Khaled Mohamed Khaled, had originally hoped to get roughly $8M for the property.

The lavish 14-karat gold chandeliers in the Mediterranean-style home, which has five bedrooms and six bathrooms, are encrusted with Swarovski crystals. Additionally, it has a modern gourmet kitchen, floor to ceiling windows, and a balcony with unrivaled views of the lake.

Father-of-two DJ Khaled first put this house up for sale in December 2018 with a $7.99M asking price.

This musician and composer, who was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, paid $3.84 million for the waterfront property on a private island back in 2015. He spent over $2 on upgrades during that time, but he ultimately had to accept a sale that came with a $2M discount from his original asking price.

Khaled kept his famed sneaker collection in a specifically created room in his four-story estate, and it also has a Jacuzzi where he gave his well-known Hot Tub pep talks on Snapchat.

The home also has a pool and spa with a view of Miami Bay that are tropically inspired.
