Kevin Hart Buys Calabasas Mansion for Family Vacation

Two can be better than one in some circumstances. Additionally, these scenarios become more frequent and urgent the more cash you have on hand. One of the richest comedians, Kevin Hart has an estimated net worth of $200 million. He reportedly invested $7 million of his riches in a mansion next to an even bigger one he already owns, according to public records.

Hart’s custom-built home residence, which is situated in a tiny gated community on the semi-rural outskirts of Calabasas, was finished in 2018. A 26-acre plot, of which 24 acres are steep hillside and so impractical for construction, is where the 9500 square foot, vaguely contemporary, Mediterranean-style home is located. In addition to the main house, the opulent property has two separate guesthouses, a playground for kids, a sizable pool, and a volleyball court.

The 16.3-acre estate next door is partly hillside as well, but a two-acre graded property houses a 9,300-square-foot residence with a grey tiled roof and other amenities including an infinity-edged pool, a full-size tennis court, huge lawns, and extensive gardens. The house from 2004 was never formally put on the market.

Property records show that Hart also bought the home next door from Shakim Compere, a film producer with offices in Miami and Los Angeles who is most known for being Queen Latifah’s longstanding business partner. The Queen and Compere launched Flavour Unit Entertainment in 1995; since then, the firm has produced more than a dozen movies and television shows and has an inked an exclusive overall arrangement with Netflix.

According to Hart and his wife Eniko Parrish, Compare and his wife Tonya paid $6.7 million for the high-maintenance mansion in Calabasas in 2015, making it very improbable that they turned a profit on the deal.

The 42-acre estate that legendary comedian and performer Hart (of “Jumanji,” “Think Like a Man,” and “Get Hard”) now oversees features two swimming pools, two sports facilities, and a number of other buildings with a combined living space of around 19,000 square feet. There is also off-street parking available for numerous automobiles.

Hart’s “extra” house is tucked away behind gates on a sizable property. There are six bedrooms and six bathrooms hidden under its stone and beige stucco facade.

Large formal living and dining rooms with big windows and wide-plank oak floors can be found inside the house.
