Details Of The $42 Million Property

Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s residence is in Calabasas, home of the Kardashians. The property is on 25,000 square feet of 2010-built land. The couple paid $42 million for their 150-acre estate, which they have improved over time. The couple has hired Waldo Fernandez to start the property’s interiors, which were previously finished by Judith Lance of Los Angeles. Lance inherited a footprint, finish materials, stone, and paint. Lance only established the property’s handmade, polished, and sophisticated aesthetics.

The house designer based room designs on indigenous jewelry reference books. The Smiths then worked with architect Stephen Samuelson to modify the home to create a comfortable, earthy aesthetic with lots of snug corners. Every item of mansion furniture was custom-made and expertly fitted. Lance found it difficult, but the exact furniture design made the home more lovely for engineering and aesthetics.

The Interior And Exterior Design Of The Estate

Lance created a serpent-themed fireplace screen using carnelian cabochons, copper mesh, and hand-hammered bronze. There was a cloistered sitting space with a formal dining room and Mary Brogger’s foliate twisted brass wire sconces. With the Smiths’ antique carved panels and doors, they achieved an archaic impression. They used architectural elements from the American Southwest, Middle East, Africa, and Asia, including a massive entrance entryway that resembles a Northern Indian fort. Jada said she liked doors and saw them as a gateway to new things.

The designer’s coup de theater in the master bedroom was a bed canopy made from small ball chains hung from the ceiling with bronze connections. The main home has nine bedrooms, a movie theater, and a recording studio in the vast adobe. The pair always desired an earthy, organic house, which is spiritual. The home was planned as a family hideaway and created by hand to resemble natural.
