Discover Drake’s Rolls-Royce Phantom Adorned with a Dazzling Diamond Owl on the Hood

Drake has a lot of reason to be pleased with his huge collection of classic cars. Particular ones tailored specifically to his tastes.

This Rolls-Royce Phantom, for instance, has an owl in lieu of the traditional Spirit of Ecstasy ornamentation. Drake’s owl-themed record company, OVO Sound, is well-known among the rapper’s devoted followers. He also created the logo for his own clothing company called OVO (October’s Very Own), which features a similarly stylized bird.

That’s why he went with it for his Phantom. He worked with Drake’s personal car designer, Tony Bet, on this project. The owl, which is made of pure gold and has diamonds for eyes because… well, Drake, was designed and installed by the artist. In case the rapper ever gets confused about which vehicle is his, his name is engraved on the tag.

There’s no news on how much Drake spent on just the hood ornament, but it’s safe to assume it was far above the $450,000 starting price of a regular Phantom.

The German tuning business Mansory was responsible for the transformation that became the Rolls-Royce Phantom Bushukan Edition. Bushukan is an Asian citrus fruit with a curiously curved yellow peel that served as inspiration for a portion of Drake’s two-tone paint job on his Rolls-Royce.

The official Mansory website states that the Phantom’s power was increased thanks to the addition of a sports exhaust system. Maximum torque is reached at 1,500 rpm from the 6.75-liter V12 engine, which is now rated at 701 lb-ft (950 Nm).

The rapper recently uploaded two photographs to his Instagram Stories in which he and a costumed friend stand next to a flashy car. A Rolls-Royce was parked next to Drake’s baby blue Mercedes-AMG G 63. It’s too bad we never catch the rapper behind the wheel.
