Adele’s Stately Acquisition: Sylvester Stallone’s Luxurious Beverly Park Mansion for $58 Million

Sylvester Stallone’s megamansion in Beverly Park was just sold for $58 million. The selling price was the highest for SoCal this year, although it was 47% less than his asking price of $110 million.

The Times reports that the purchaser is none other than Adele.

Stallone placed it on the market for about a year before finally selling it in December 2021. Without any takers, he lowered the price in October to $80 million.

This 3.5 acre lot in Beverly Park has been around for quite some time, and not only because of its proximity to the homes of famous people like Denzel Washington, Magic Johnson, Justin Bieber, and the late Sumner Redstone, who formerly resided in the house next door to Sylvester Stallone.

During his stay, the Oscar-nominated actor supervised a series of improvements that transformed the property from a traditional Mediterranean mansion into a sleek and contemporary house. The eight-car garage was transformed into an art studio, steel-framed windows and doors were installed in the main living rooms, and he commissioned mega-mansion specialist Richard Landry to build a separate guesthouse.

For entertainment, Stallone installed a cinema, a one-of-a-kind bar, a fully-equipped gym, and a cigar lounge with an air purification system. One statue of Rocky Balboa may be seen in the memorabilia room, while another can be found sitting on the edge of the pool.

Over 21,000 square feet may be found between 8 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a two-story foyer, and elegant living and dining spaces. There is a pool and putting green on the grounds, and the terraces and patios look out over the grassy expanse.

Adele, now 33 years old, became a household name with the publication of her self-titled first album in 2008. Since then, she has received 12 Brit Awards, 15 Grammy Awards, and an Academy Award for best original song for her 2012 performance in “Skyfall.” Her fourth studio album, titled “30,” was published that past November.

The London native now lives in Southern California and maintains many addresses, two of which are in close proximity to the Beverly Hills Post Office.

Sylvester Stallone has been a mainstay of the Hollywood film industry as an actor, producer, director, and screenwriter since the 1970s. He was nominated for an Academy Award twice: first for the original “Rocky” in 1976, and again in 2015 for the sequel “Creed.” He has also appeared in films like “First Blood” and “Cobra” in the “Expendables” series.

Since then, the 75-year-old has purchased a Palm Beach, Florida, mansion for $35.38 million and relocated to the East Coast.

Agents Tomer Fridman of Compass and Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency and Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker Realty controlled the listing. Rappaport served as the buyer’s agent with T. Lee Montgomery of Keller Williams Hollywood Hills.
