Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk: Who Would Triumph in a Real ‘Cage Match’ Among Tech Billionaires?

It’s no surprise that Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, two of Silicon Valley’s most prominent figures, have been trading insults and wisecracks across multiple social media platforms and, on occasion, toying with the idea of a full-on fistfight.

Even if the cage bout has been postponed (at least according to the latest from Twitter or whatever they’re calling it these days), the war between the VC-backed boy geniuses continues in the abstract. Tech moguls with fortunes in the tens of millions, and online town squares with more users than the populations of several nations. In a one-on-one matchup, who would you back? Or are you publicly cheering for a knockout of both fighters?

Many people continue to insist that this is all an elaborate media ploy on the part of two billionaires and that there is no actual match taking place. The two millionaires, though, have been sharing regular images of their exercises on social media.

Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook and a billionaire, previously flaunted his jiu-jitsu-honed physique on social media.

To make up for his lack of natural talent, Musk regularly practices with many well-known martial artists, including Lex Fridman, a jujitsu black belt instructor.

Lex Fridman posted a photo of him and Elon Musk doing martial arts together on his personal Twitter feed, complete with a knockdown and a fistfight. Mr. Musk’s training, though, was halted when the South African tycoon unexpectedly required surgery.

According to Bloomberg, entrepreneur Elon Musk said on the X platform that he plans to have an MRI of his neck and back this week and may even undergo surgery.

Musk claimed to have “severe back pain” following his sumo wrestling fight. In 2022, Musk discussed the injury.
