‘Avatar’ Star Zoe Saldana Lists Her Beverly Hills Home for $16 Million

Zoe Saldana has decided to sell her Beverly Hills mansion with a classic tennis court after little over seven years as the owner. The Wall Street Journal was the first to report that the veteran actress, best known for her performances in Star Trek, Avatar, and Guardians of the Galaxy, is seeking $16.5 million for the home she purchased from model and businesswoman Kimora Lee Simmons in the spring of 2016.

The three-story home dates back to 1974 and is located in the gated neighborhood of Hidden Valley Estates on a half-acre lot surrounded by hedges and gates. Neighbors include Adele, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicole Kidman, and Penelope Cruz. Hardwood flooring, imported polished stone finishes, and designer lighting can be found throughout the 6,400 square feet of renovated living area that includes five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

A set of steps leads from the well kept lawn to a porch with columns and a bright yellow entrance that enters into a spacious foyer with a winding staircase. The home’s other notable features include an elegant dining room with wainscoted walls, a living room with a fireplace and steel-and-glass cabinets, a family room with wood paneling, and a custom kitchen with an eat-in island, high-end equipment, and a separate breakfast area.

The upper floor features a luxurious master suite with a fireplace, sitting area, and dual closets, as well as a marble bathroom with a large oval soaking tub. The home also has a media room, lounge area, and gym, as well as a swimming pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, and lighted tennis court on the expansive grounds. A two-car garage is also included.

Carolwood Estates’ Brett Lawyer is advertising the property for lease at $47,500 monthly.
