Rick Ross Splurges $35 Million on a Stunning Waterfront Mansion on Miami’s Star Island

Despite the title of his song, “I’m Not a Star,” Rick Ross is now the proud owner of a home on Miami’s Star Island.

The “Hustlin” rapper closed on the beachfront mansion on the exclusive island this week after it was revealed last month that he had his sights set on the property. The 40,000 square foot estate in the center of the celebrity-studded and guard-gated enclave cost Rozay a cool $35 million. Numerous celebrities including Diddy, the millionaire Ken Griffen, Jennifer Lopez, and Gloria Estefan also live lavishly here. Given that there are only 30 residences on Star Island, the record executive’s success in securing one is noteworthy.

“We are so excited to have hit a high note in finding the right buyer for this spectacular property so quickly after listing it,” said Jill Eber of The Jills Zeder Group, who represented the seller with her colleagues Jill Hertzberg, Felise Eber, and Fabio Lopes. We anticipate the buyer’s complete satisfaction with his decision to purchase a home on the exclusive Star Island. Ross was represented by Tawanda Roberts of Florida Realty in Miami and Kimberly Knausz of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.

“He was immediately taken by the grand entrance; the long driveway leading up to the mansion gave it an air of real luxury,” Knausz said. He wanted something that was out of the usual for a contemporary house, and the architecture was a big element of it.

There are six bedrooms and nine bathrooms distributed over the 12,374 square foot home, and the property has 100 feet of waterfront on Biscayne Bay. There is a two-car garage now, but the creator of Maybach Music Group will require a lot more space than that to store his collection of luxury automobiles. When he takes to the sea, he may do so from a dock that stretches 40 feet and has a water and power pedestal. If he hasn’t already, maybe he’ll finally acquire his Lamborghini boat.
