The Weeknd’s $70 million luxury Bel Air mansion is revealed, leaving you in awe

One of the most expensive purchases made in Los Angeles this year was a Bel Air residence by R&B superstar The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye off the stage. The living area of the house is over 33,000 square feet, which is a sizable quantity. The home’s outside features include a sports court, an infinity pool with a waterfall, and a dramatic split stairway connecting the top patio to the grass. A gym, theater, music studio, sauna, hammam, and indoor pool are all located inside the home.

These amenities are located on a 1.6-acre parcel of property that looks out over the Bel Air Country Club. The old residence of the “Blinding Lights” singer has just been purchased by Madonna.

The property’s former owners, Dutch media tycoon Reinout Oerlemans and his wife, competitive cyclist Danielle Oerlemans, weren’t even planning on selling it until Rayni and Branden Williams of the Beverly Hills Estates expressed interest in showing Tesfaye the property. In the end, Angel Salvador, another Beverly Hills Estates agent, handled Tesfaye’s representation while the Williams team handled the Oerlemans’.

The Oerlemans paid $21.4 million for the house in 2015, and during the following three years, they added many of the aforementioned luxuries and extended it by 13,000 square feet. Additionally, they updated the inside design of the house to make it look more modern than it did in the early 2000s. The home has several distinctive elements, including kitchen drawer handles made of leather belts and office walls covered with muted wooden sunburst panels. Orange gloss paint has been used on the walls of the living room. The three-time Grammy Award winner’s upcoming renovation plans are still a mystery.
