It is not surprising that Lionel Messi, one of sports’ greatest players, has gathered an incredible collection of automobiles.

The World Cup champion from Argentina, who is thought to be worth £480 million, has a garage to die for with several Audis, a very rare Pagani Zonda worth £4 million, and more.

12On Instagram, Messi made a joke about purchasing a Ferrari.

However, the Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti he purchased at an auction for £28 million is the most impressive vehicle in his collection.

SunSport looks at the alleged automobiles that the former Barcelona player owns.

Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti, £28m

Messi purchased this vintage Ferrari at an auction for a whopping £28 million, making it the most expensive item in his collection.

Even better, he purchased it ahead of rival Cristiano Ronaldo, who is a frequent car collector.

A wicked sense of humor was displayed by the forward when sharing the news on Instagram.

He shared a photo of himself holding a tiny model of the vehicle.

Pagani Zonda Roadster, £4m

Messi’s Pagani, one of the most expensive and swiftest vehicles in existence, isn’t road legal and is only permitted for track use.

Pagani has been producing motors since 1999; reportedly, only 40 of these babies were ever produced, which accounts for the increase in price.

In a Nike advertisement, Ronaldo, Messi’s fiercest rival, once drove a Pagani Huayra and jokingly crashed it.

Messi has no justification for being late to training.

Mercedes SLS, £200,000

The SLS is unquestionably a collection piece, but not one you’d want to drive through the congested streets of Paris.

This German beauty was created by the Mercedes-AMG division and has a retractable rear wing that extends at a speed of 70 mph.

Super Leicht Sport, or “Super Light Sport,” is what “SLS” stands for. Given that Messi is known as the “flea,” it makes sense that he would possess one of these.

Audi Q7 £61,835

We are confident that Messi received a good deal on a second one from Audi.

Messi’s possession of a dependable, roomy, and opulent Q7 demonstrates how seriously he takes his role as a family man.

Interestingly, Audi didn’t begin producing SUVs until 2008. They have since overrun the market for football players.

Mini Copper Electric, £31,000

Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale, £110,000
