Eddie Murphy’s Regal Lifestyle: Inside His $35M Beverly Hills Mansion

The new Eddie Murphy film “Coming 2 America” takes place in two contrasting settings: the lavish royal realm of Zamunda (which looks like a contemporary rapper’s house) and the everyday life that Prince Akeem formerly followed in Queens, New York.

Murphy’s early life was spent in New York City’s public housing system, namely in the borough of Brooklyn. However, after his success on “Saturday Night Live,” the comic pursued a stand-up and acting career on his own while living a wealthy lifestyle.

The 59-year-old and his family now dwell in a bespoke $20 million Beverly Hills mansion, in addition to their rumored $15 million island in the Bahamas.

His current and prior addresses are shown below.

Murphy’s Real Estate Portfolio Is Worth $35M

A $20 million North Beverly Park house constructed in 2003 is home to the protagonist of “Coming to America” and “Coming 2 America,” who plays four different roles in each film.

From this home, he greeted Angel Iris (now 13), Izzy Oona (now 4), and Max Charles (now 2).

According to a Page Six source, Murphy, whose wealth is unknown, is said to have spent $15 million for a private island in the Bahamas named Rooster Cay in 2007. Some sources refer to Rooster Cay as “Long Cay,” another name for the island. According to Forbes, the 15-acre plot may be found in close proximity to Nassau. The New York Post was unable to verify Murphy’s claim to island ownership on its own.
