Bradley Cooper Lists His Beloved Los Angeles Bungalow for $2.4 Million

After nearly 20 years, A-list actor Bradley Cooper has put his quaint and lovely retreat in the Venice section of Los Angeles on the market for $2.4 million.

According to public records, the Oscar nominee purchased the 1920s home for slightly under $1.2 million in 2004.

The two-bedroom home’s extensive landscaping serves two purposes: it hides the property from prying eyes and gives it a fantastical, almost fairy-tale quality, making it an important feature for celebrities.

The natural style is carried through inside. The 48-year-old Mr. Cooper collaborated with interior designer Santillana de Chanaleilles to create the look and feel of the room, which includes reclaimed-wood ceilings and concrete flooring.

This home is quite unique, as stated by the listing agent, Diana Braun of Compass, in an email. Last week, she put the house up for sale.

Everywhere you look, the indoor/outdoor California lifestyle is prominent.

The home’s centerpiece is an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area with an expansive concrete breakfast bar and a fireplace; it has French doors that open to the outside and allow in a plenty of natural light.

The main bedroom has a folding glass wall that opens out to the backyard. In addition to the high cathedral ceiling, there is a luxurious bathroom with terracotta tiles, a black metal shower frame, and a clawfoot tub.

“Situated in an ideal spot for those who enjoy the California beach lifestyle,” Ms. Braun added, praising the home’s fire pit, hot tub, and outdoor living area.

Meanwhile, a separate building in the yard gives “the perfect bonus room for an office, home gym, or living space,” as advertised.

When reached for comment, a spokesman for the actor who has appeared in films including “The Hangover,” “Silver Linings Playbook,” and “A Star is Born” did not immediately answer.
