Tom Cruise, an American actor and producer, is thought to be worth $550 million. After making a big impression in the teen comedy Risky Business (1983), Tom Cruise went on to star as the fighter jock Maverick in Top Gun (1986), which became his first commercially successful film.

Thanks to a run of hit films, Cruise and his brazen grin were elevated farther onto Hollywood’s A-list.

In 2005, Cruise started dating Katie Holmes. They were dubbed “TomKat” by the tabloids and had a daughter named Suri on April 18, 2006. On November 18, 2006, they were wed in Italy. Cruise is a well-known adherent of Scientology.

After five years of marriage, Cruise and Holmes announced their divorce on June 29, 2012. Katie is requesting a “suitable amount” of child support, claims TMZ.  Despite the fact that the couple signed a prenup that was based on California law, Katie also requests a split of property in her divorce papers.
