The best things to do in Tenerife that will leave you spellbound

The Canary Island that attracts the most tourists from the United Kingdom has a distinctive profile. With a 3,718-meter volcanic peak at its center, Mount Teide is the highest mountain in Spain. From this massive summit, the rest of the island radiates outward. The nicest beaches and weather are located towards the southwest region of the island, which is home to popular tourist spots like Playa de las Americas.

While the city and principal port of Santa Cruz, a surprisingly attractive place, is nestled under the northern point, more conventional tourist destinations (particularly Puerto de la Cruz) are higher up on the north coast. Last but not least, the rough Anaga mountains, which are located immediately to the north of Santa Cruz, are still an isolated area with goat bells, lingering mists, and potato growers who live in cave homes. Here are a few of my favorite island activities.
