Russell Wilson, a dual-threat quarterback who won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks, and Ciara, a fashion model and R&B singer who goes by the name Ciara, have put their Bellevue, Wash., home on the market for $36 million.
The “Goodies” and “Speechless” singer, who works hard as an entrepreneur and gives a lot to charity, and Wilson, who was once the NFL’s highest-paid player and made $35 million a year with the Seahawks, want to triple their money when they sell their two-parcel waterfront home. They bought the two plots in two separate deals, the first in 2015, the year before they got married, and the second in 2019 for a total of $13.4 million.
Carmen and Chandler Gayton of Windermere Real Estate Co. list the two lots individually. The lot with the main house is $28 m³ll³on, and the lot next door that has a garage and a sports court is $8 m³ll³on.
The two properties add up to about 1.9 acres of well-kept lawns that drop down to 270 feet of beautiful Lake Washington shoreline. The fancy main house was built in 2007 on top of a hill with views of the city and water.
There are six bedrooms, five bathrooms, and two powder rooms spread out over three floors and a little more than 11,000 square feet. There is a circular wrought iron staircase and a lift that serves the rooms.
There is a 20-foot door, two formal dining rooms, and a black library/office that stands out. The huge room is split up by Corinthian columns with groin vaults. The woodwork in the large kitchen on one side is very finely carved and is bone white.
There are at least four beautifully carved stone fireplaces, Southeast Asian antique carved wood doors, and a circular eating bay off the great room with views of the lake and downtown Seattle.
The main suite’s fancy bathroom has a garden tub, a cedar sauna, and different shades of purple velvet, from plum to violet to eggplant.
The 200 square feet of custom closet area and ‘Hollywood-worthy glam room’ in the large suite make it even more luxurious.
The updated lower level has a lounge with a games area and a cozy movie theatre with wood walls.
The outdoor treehouse has two stories, a faux-fur rug, a leather seat, and a flat-screen TV. It’s more for adults than for kids. From floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see the water and the city.
