The visualisation of antirealityThe Circular Villa comprises five main functional zones: the work area (level 0 – studio), the day area (level I – kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom), the night area (level II – bedroom, bathroom), the viewing area (level III – terraces, rooftop with a pool), and the circulation area; a spiral staircase connecting all levels. The building’s estimated 750 m2 footprint is nearly entirely taken up by the terraces and outdoor spaces. The folded slab creates a visual connection between each building zone and its surroundings. The fundamental structure is made of reinforced concrete; the outside is composed of glass and perforated metal panels; the interior is mostly composed of white hardwood panels. The circular facade’s movable components can be positioned to face the direction of the sun. Because of its flexibility, this installation facade system may easily adapt to different user needs.
