It’s easy to miss Furore as you follow the road cut along the coast between Amalfi and Positano. Keep an eye out for it and stop when you see it. This cute place has two parts, one on the sea and one on the mountain. It’s been called “the town that isn’t.”

The place is called a “non-town” since it doesn’t have a main square or center. Instead, there are a bunch of houses spread out along the rocky rocks. Fiordo is a small village at the base of a cliff, right next to the water. It is on the SS 163 road, which connects Amalfi and Positano. From sea to mountain, there is only one way to get there: a mountain pass built during the Republic of Amalfi. You will be able to walk through tiny alleys and narrow plots of land that have been dug out of the mountain and lovingly tended to.
